Product Demo Video - Introducing Smart Tagger

This short video demonstrates the power of Smart Tagger for AYLIEN News API. Smart Tagger provides high-precision news tagging, expanded breadth and depth of category taxonomies, and increased relevance for risk and media intelligence use cases.

Smart Tagger includes two taxonomies: Industry and AYLIEN Categories. AYLIEN Categories taxonomy contains ~3,000 topical categories, with top-level examples being Business and Commerce, Economics, Politics and Government. The Industry taxonomy contains ~1,500 multi-level industry tags, with some top-level examples being Banking and Finance, Energy and Utilities, Manufacturing. 

Smart Tagger also includes two special category groupings: adverse events and trading impact events. These are a curated selection of AYLIEN categories that make it even easier to find impactful news. 

The video takes a look at Smart Tagger in AYLIEN’s demo environment to show just how powerful it can be, especially when compared to standard taxonomies such as IPTC and IAB. Use cases include a risk analyst focused on ESG risk, and a brand intelligence use case focused on product recalls.
