Continuing the video series, we turn our attention to how one customer, Revolut, use AYLIEN News API to deliver high impact news to their users.
I’m sure you’ve all heard of Revolut, one of fintech’s most successful companies over the last few years.
Beyond essential day-to-day banking needs, they’ve released a trading feature, where users can easily trade stocks, commodities, and crypto. To help users make better trading decisions, they identified the need to build news feeds, educating users of high impact, market moving events. They also wanted to make sure that news feeds would be based on their customer’s portfolio preferences, and would be delivered to individual stock pages, like Tesla or Google, in the app.
Revolut chose AYLIEN News API as their news data provider for a few main reasons: we provide access to trusted news coverage, so the quality of news articles served to their users would not be an issue. Secondly, AYLIEN provides the unique ability of delivering specific news to exactly where it is needed in the app, in real time.
And since Revolut have implemented the News API into their app, Revolut Trading have seen an increase of 75% month over month in users interacting with the global market news feature.
You can read more about Revolut in our case study, AYLIEN.com, and you can also try the API for yourself with our 14 day free trial by signing up here.
